Session Description: This session will discuss childhood bullying and current practices, attitudes, confidence level, and knowledge of school nurses regarding bullying and assessing for bullying. This session will also discuss about what all healthcare providers, including school nurses, can do to help reduce childhood bullying.
Primary Presenter Bio: Dr. Vicki Hensley has over 17 years experience as a pediatric nurse. She is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and has worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for over 10 years. She joined the faculty at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing in 2005 and teaches pediatric nursing in the college’s undergraduate nursing program.
