Session Description: Learn how a team of nurses and other health care professionals used Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve the efficiency of scheduling outpatient pediatric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Primary Presenter Bio: Heidi Troxler is a Registered Nurse at North Carolina Children's Hospital, which is part of UNC Health Care. She has been a pediatric nurse for almost 15 years and is a Clinical Nurse 4 on a pediatric medicine floor. Heidi is a Black Belt quality improvement coach for her service line and has coached multiple health care improvement projects.
