Session Description: This presentation discusses the development of a staff workgroup to identify and create interventions to decrease bullying on an inpatient pediatric unit. Interventions include creating a team of Relationship Based Care Champion, education for pediatric registered nurses and clinical care partners, and the staff-driven creation of the “Pediatric Commitment to a Healthy Work Environment.”
Primary Presenter Bio: Amy Goldberg has been a pediatric nurse for ten years. She has been a formal leader on her unit for five years. In addition to SPN, Amy is involved with ACNL and AONE. She is passionate about creating a healthy work environment for nurses everywhere.

Presenter 2 Bio: Sharon Doggett is the Assistant Unit Director has been a pediatric nurse for thirteen years. She is passionate about quality care for pediatric patients, healthy work environments for nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
Presenter 3 Bio: Mary Passeri is a certified pediatric nurse. She has been an integral part of implementing and sustaining patient family centered care on the Pediatric Unit. She is Charge Nurse and Mentor to all of the pediatric nurses. Mary role models healthy work practices and encourages others to care for themselves.
