Target Audience: RNs: Pediatric Nurses in all practice settings

Description: Healthcare experiences can shape how children respond in medical settings. this webinar will offer participants practical skills and strategies to promote emotional safety, to support children during times of distress and meet the child’s unique needs.

 families/caregivers who may not be eligible or cannot afford future counseling. Nurses do not have the training to manage these patients they encounter. Nurses need the knowledge to mange these patients while they are temporarily in their care.

Outcome:  Participants of this webinar will implement at least one new strategy to support a child's emotional safety during a medical visit based upon the knowledge gain.
