What is the likelihood that the in-person SPN 33rd Annual Conference will be cancelled?

While we aren’t able to predict the future and what the pandemic situation will be in April 2023, SPN leadership will continue to monitor local, state, and national guidelines regarding traveling and gathering in person.

While we are constantly updating our health and safety protocols, we are 100% committed to holding the SPN 33rd Annual Conference in person in Pittsburgh this April.

For those that are unable or unwilling to attend the conference in person, we strongly recommend you consider registering for Virtual Conference Bridge, taking place on May 11, 2023.

Virtual Conference Bridge, which will be a one-day event following the Annual Conference, includes access to select conference sessions. While it won’t be the same as the full, in-person experience, this virtual extension is a high-value option to gain critical insights about trends, best practices and practical applications that will help you do your job better, easier and faster. You’ll be able to earn up to 8 contact hours through Virtual Conference Bridge.

What ADA accommodations will be made for attendees?

SPN complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and is committed to providing a positive experience for all of our attendees. If you have special requirements due to a disability, you may indicate your requests during the registration process. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Do I have to be vaccinated to attend the conference?

As part of our commitment to the safety of all attendees, SPN will be following leading medical advice to require all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and guests of the 33rd Annual Conference to be fully vaccinated* against COVID-19 or have qualified exemption from vaccination. As an additional precaution, we strongly encourage attendees to wear a mask while attending.

*SPN will be following the CDC definition of "fully vaccinated" at the time of the Annual Conference.

Will exemptions from the vaccine requirement be allowed?

If a health or religious reason allows for an exemption from being vaccinated, attendees are required to request an exemption. Please send requests to [email protected]
