Pharmacology Workshop - Sedations: You Won't Sleep Through This Workshop

The workshop ‘Procedural Sedation Medications and Pharmacology’ focuses on the pharmacology of drugs used during sedation. Sedative agents will be discussed in conjunction with sedation depth and goals, as well as pharmacologic properties and characteristics. Nursing considerations and pearls will be incorporated into this interactive learning experience. 2 Pharmacology hours awarded.

This workshop will provide foundational knowledge of trauma and trauma-informed care. A team of Mental Health specialists will discuss the application of trauma-informed principles within various healthcare settings spanning all levels of the organization. Objectives include learning about trauma and ACES; learning principles of Trauma Informed Care; learning how to apply the Trauma Informed Care principles to various healthcare settings; identifying means of implementation and evaluation.

DEI Workshop - Sacred Conversation on Race

This workshop allows attendees to be guided by peer leaders in table discussions centered around racial identity, personal bias, and systemic racism. "Sacred Conversations" refers to the idea that all conversations that require us to share parts of our own stories, and receive the stories of others are sacred, and thus occur in a sacred space
